Let’s talk about our Storybook Easter Studio sessions!
Spring is one of our favorite times of year at Southern Charm Portraits. Easter sessions are at the top of the list of most popular mini sessions. The planning of Easter sessions begins shortly after Christmas. We dedicate countless hours to ensuring that every detail is prepared in order to make Easter a success. Our Easter session planning is filled with so many decisions, such as choosing backdrops, props, adorable bunnies, lighting, and so on. There is no detail to be overlooked. How can we make this year better? That’s what we ask ourselves every year!
For Easter 2023, we had several photo options: Baby Bunny Minis, Easter Bunny Minis, Spring at Bleak House, UT Garden Minis and our Storybook Studio. Our “Storybook Easter” studio set was for the family who wanted classic studio portraits of their family or child/children. Our studio set looked like it was straight out of a children’s storybook. This year’s backdrop featured a lovely garden pathway, a classic white picket fence, blooming trees and adorable baby bunnies. We also added a few updated, extra special props like our vintage bicycle and classic park bench. Then the real fun happened in post processing where we added a painted, storybook finish to the images.
We had two full days for these Storybook Easter studio sessions, and they both turned out wonderfully. We like to think we had the most well-behaved bunnies and adorable little clients who always make everything picture perfect. If you missed out this year, don’t worry, next year will be even better! We also offer “Santa Experience” in October that is complete with our classic, painted, storybook edit.
