We enjoyed being back at the Bleak House for Spring sessions. Aside from being one of our favorite locations, Bleak House is also one of our most popular locations for mini sessions! Also known as Confederate Memorial Hall, it is an antebellum Classical Revival style house in Knoxville, Tennessee.
For decades, the Historic Bleak House has been host to weddings and all types of special events in Knoxville. There is just something so beautiful about the “white room” lighting. White brick, large windows, and curved ceiling arches add a touch of elegance to this space. We schedule sessions at Bleak House multiple times throughout the year, our Easter themed Bleak House sessions were complete with a gorgeous floral hoop. When we shoot at Bleak House, we can produce gorgeous images no matter what the weather is like. When weather permits the Bleak House also has a beautiful garden we are able to take advantage of.
We love to capture images of families walking along the porch with the historic Bleak House as a backdrop, capturing images of little girls twirling in the gorgeous sunlight and children peeking through the vintage windows. The Gardens, when weather allows, have beautiful greenery, blooming bushes and trees, and lots of stone architecture. When your family or child is photographed by Rebekah or Megan you will notice our laid back approach. We have found in our 30+ years combined experience that a low pressure, fun environment allows kids to open up and be themselves. We often encourage kids to be silly, laugh, and wiggle to help them loosen up.
