This year, we added something extra adorable to our schedule– special themed “baby bunny mini sessions”! We enjoyed dressing the babies up in an hand-knitted bunny costumes and sitting them in front of a Peter Cottontail backdrop. Many of the babies were celebrating their first Easter, too!
Our high-end baby bunny costumes were custom made and imported from Poland all the way from the Netherlands. They may be the most adorable thing our studio has ever owned! These hand knitted costumes were soft and adorable. Costumes were available in sizes 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, and 12-18 months. We paired these with the cutest Peter Cottontail backdrop!
We were able to capture cute Easter portraits of all of our Southern Charm babies during these Baby Bunny mini sessions. Short and sweet at only 15 minutes, they worked nicely for just one baby per session. In addition to that, there was no need to worry about choosing the right outfit because it was taken care for our clients.
The ability to shoot mini sessions within a limited time frame has become one of our specialties over the years. Some clients, especially those who are new to the process, are unsure whether 15 minutes is sufficient. We have developed methods that work well for us and allow us to capture great images each year after photographing hundreds of babies. It is well known that toddlers and babies have a short attention span, and we have found that the very best photos are typically taken during the first few minutes of a session and we always plan our mini sessions accordingly. We want all of our little clients to leave with happy faces.
