Fall Mini Sessions 2023: A Look Back at Breathtaking East Tennessee Locations
Fall is our favorite time of year. The leaves change into stunning hues of red, orange, and yellow, the air gets crisp, and there’s a cozy feeling in the air. It’s also the perfect time for photo shoots, especially our well loved Fall mini sessions!
This year, we had the opportunity to photograph hundreds of East TN families at some of the most beautiful locations. We explored the vibrant foliage at Norris Dam State Park, the serene gardens of UT Gardens and Knoxville Botanical Gardens, the picturesque shores of Cove Lake State Park, and the charming rustic setting of Knobby Hill Farm. Each location offered its own unique beauty and provided the perfect backdrop for capturing heartwarming memories.
Norris Dam State Park offers stunning views of the Clinch River, rolling hills, and, of course, the iconic Norris Dam. The fall foliage around the lake was simply breathtaking, and the families we photographed there couldn’t have been happier with their pictures.
UT Gardens and Knoxville Botanical Gardens
The UT Gardens and Knoxville Botanical Gardens are a haven for plant lovers and photographers alike. With their diverse collections of trees, shrubs, and flowers, these gardens provide endless opportunities for playful interactions between parents and children in a beautiful setting.
Cove Lake State Park is a peaceful retreat with a sparkling lake, lush forests, and scenic hiking trails. The golden hour light over the lake was magical, and the families we photographed there were all smiles as they cozied up for their family portraits.
Knobby Hill Farm is a charming rustic venue with rolling hills, a rustic barn, and adorable farm animals. It’s the perfect place to capture families enjoying the simple pleasures of autumn.
Ball Farm Event Center sits at the base of beautiful mountains with picturesque fields, fence rows, trees, and a pond. When the autumn foliage is at its peak, this views can’t be beat.
