The 4th of July is a time for family, friends, and fun. And what better way to celebrate than with a set of patriotic photos? If you’re looking for a way to capture the memories of the 4th of July, consider booking a mini-session with your photographer. Mini-sessions are a great way to get professional photos without breaking the bank. This was our first time offering 4th of July mini sessions at Southern Charm Portraits.
Here are a few ways our 4th of July Mini Sessions were made fun:
- Patriotic Props: We rented a vintage red truck and filled the back with watermelons. We had sliced watermelon for the kids to eat as well as mini American flags and red, white, blue sunglasses!
- Outfits: Each child was uniquely dressed in their own red, white, and blue combinations.
- Quick: The sessions were really fast- 10 minutes! This allowed us to move through our props quickly and keep even our littlest subjects engaged.
As you can see, there were lots of smiling faces and fun had by all. We had a little routine that we worked through with each family that made each mini session flow with ease from beginning to end. This session worked well for older children as well babies and toddlers. Even the busiest little ones, enjoyed playing in the truck bed.
We have become quite efficient at photographing babies, children, and their families and can accomplish some great shots in just a few minutes time.
