We had the opportunity to photograph hundreds of families this past fall for Knoxville Family Pictures. We worked in Knoxville at UT Gardens and other surrounding areas such as Norris Dam State Park, Cove Lake State Park, and a private property in LaFollette, TN.
Fall is the best time for family photos because of the rich colors and wide variety of options for clothing choices. It is easy to incorporate textures, layers, and all the appealing qualities that make up a beautiful family portrait!
Many of the above photos were taken at a private property with a more rustic, country vibe. We usually keep everything simple. My go-to pose is putting everyone together on a blanket where they can love and laugh together. We photograph mostly families with young children so giggles and tickles are easy to come by and it makes for a a really fun photo shoot!
