Something magical happens every time I photograph this family. I love photographing “R squared” (Ryen & Rex) and always feel happier and cheery after having been with them. I’m not sure which part of this session was my favorite- capturing their natural, affectionate moments together, Ryen dressing up as Cinderella/dancing with Dad while Rex had a skunk melt down, or the emotional “ups & downs” of the balloon release! 🙂
To help the kids cope with the recent loss of their Papaw, they let them make cards for Papaw and send them to Heaven by balloons! We captured a little bit of this at the end of the session. They all wore one of Papaw’s shirts. It was truly touching.
