I know there are lots of people excited to see the images from Jessica and Matt’s big day! Thank you for waiting ever-so-patiently on me!
I’m not going to lie- I was pretty nervous about shooting this wedding! You know, shooting weddings brings a certain stress on me, anyways. But, I was extra nervous about shooting in the church lighting. And then, when the tornado-like clouds rolled in outside, well, it wasn’t good news for any of us! ha! We didn’t let it “rain on our parade”, though! : )
Now that it is all said and done, I can finally take a deep breath and smile! I truly loved working with these families. It was just such a fun event to be part of.
The beginning of the storm…. (I went in before it got bad!) 🙂 Editing images of these two make me feel like I’m watching a romance movie! They are just so naturally sweet together and, obviously, in love. (You might remember their engagement session I shot last fall. It was one I’ll never forget!) Jessica’s mom played a big role in the planning of the wedding. She was just glowing the entire day. The Christ-like love she has for her family is so evident and should be an example to us all. If you were a guest at this event, you can attest to the fun exit the wedding party made from the ceremony! We all knew this was going to happen… And a few special moments on the dance floor…I’d like to thank both of these families for choosing me to be the photographer for this milestone in their lives. As many of you know, I have made the decision to not shoot anymore weddings (indefinitely). So this was a wonderful way to go out ‘with a bang’!
